Sarah J Murphy

PEMF Practitioner and Owner

A seasoned Magnawave PEMF practitioner, Murphy brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to the realm of equine therapy. Specializing in Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, she has become a trusted expert in promoting healing, reducing inflammation, and optimizing the overall well-being of horses under her care. Murphy is not only a skilled practitioner but also the owner of Murfield Farm. From meticulously designed facilities to personalized care plans, Murphy has created a haven where horses thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.

She is a dedicated wife, mother and horsewoman. Growing up in the mountains of Vermont, she started her career with trail rides, rodeos and gymkhanas. β€œIt was a family affair, every Friday and Saturday night we would load the horses and we (my parents and I)would go to gymkhana and rodeo, it was a very special time and tradition for us.”

In 2002 she moved to RI to care for her grandmother, taking a break from the equine world to focus on her family. In 2009 (after getting married) she got back into the equine world, volunteering at a local equestrian center for some much needed ride time, and eventually turning into a full time management position of the massive 40+ horse equine facility.

It was here that Sarah gained most of her knowledge. Working closely with veterinarians, trainers, body workers and many different clients, she realized that there was a lack of non invasive rehabilitative approaches. It was then that she decided to become a certified Magnawave PEMF and Red Light practitioner, and extend her knowledge into holistic approaches, also working towards her Equine Rehabilitation certification.

Now, together with her husband, and ten year old twin girls, she built and opened Murfield Farm. Offering high quality board, and a holistic approach to rehabilitative therapy..Still working closely with veterinarians, body workers and other professionals, she builds individualized plans to meet the very specific needs of your equine partner.
